(Web Desk Monitoring) — South Africa secured a thrilling three-wicket victory over West Indies through the Duckworth-Lewis method, advancing to the T20 World Cup semi-finals alongside England as Group 2 winners.

The match, held in Antigua, saw South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi shine with 3-27, limiting West Indies to 135-8 in their allotted 20 overs. Following a rain delay, South Africa successfully chased down a revised target of 123.

Despite a late surge from West Indies spinner Roston Chase, who claimed three key wickets, Marco Jansen’s composed innings culminated in a match-winning six off the first ball of the final over. This victory marked South Africa’s third entry into the T20 World Cup semi-finals.

The remaining semi-finalists will be determined on Monday, with India facing Australia in St Lucia and Afghanistan battling Bangladesh in St Vincent to conclude the Super Eight stage.
