LAHORE (Daily Point) – A recent leak has once again provided insights into the camera specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The flagship phone is set to sport an impressive 200MP primary camera equipped with an improved sensor, the ISOCELL HP2SX, featuring 0.6µm pixels. This indicates a strong focus on capturing high-resolution images with fine detail.
Complementing the primary camera, the device will include a 12MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX564) with 1.4µm pixels, ensuring excellent wide-angle shots. Additionally, it boasts a 10MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX754+) with 1/12µm pixels and 3x optical zoom, as well as a 50MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX854) with 0.7µm pixels and 5x optical zoom. Notably, the phone is abandoning the 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom seen in its predecessors in favor of optimizing the 50MP telephoto camera to deliver 10x optical quality zoom.
Another noteworthy addition to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera capabilities is a laser-assisted autofocus mechanism, aimed at enhancing focusing in low-light conditions and for close-range shots.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to introduce an exciting new feature known as “Zoom Anyplace” technology. This innovative feature enables users to record a full-view 4K video while simultaneously capturing a zoomed-in view of the same frame at 4K resolution. This opens up creative possibilities for users and filmmakers, allowing them to capture dynamic and immersive content.
Furthermore, Samsung is set to introduce the “E2E AI Remosaic” feature, which harnesses a new image processing algorithm. This technology addresses a previous drawback of extended capture time for 200MP resolution images, as seen in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The “E2E AI Remosaic” feature is expected to reduce this capture time by half, significantly improving the device’s ability to capture high-resolution images in a broader range of situations.
