MULTAN (Daily Point) – Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has provided a significant relief to the people of Multan by reducing electricity prices. Residents expressed their gratitude to the prime minister, highlighting the positive impact of this decision.

In a special conversation with Daily Point reporter Waseem, the people of Multan shared that whenever the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has been in power, they have always received benefits. They pointed out that after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, led by Imran Khan, came into power, they witnessed little more than speeches and no substantial actions to address their concerns.

One resident of Multan mentioned that the reduction in electricity prices will also lead to a decrease in inflation. He expressed that they had become exhausted from paying high electricity bills, and after a long time, they finally received direct relief, for which they would like to thank Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Another citizen recalled how, just last year, the electricity bills were so high that people had to sell their gold rings just to pay them.
