LAHORE (Daily Point) — In a remarkable success story, Pakistani-origin businessman Mr Akmal Pervaiz has shared the secrets behind his meteoric rise to billionaire status in Saudi Arabia, revealing how he achieved this feat in just three years of starting his business.

In an exclusive interview on the “Farrukh Warraich Show”, Pervaiz credited the rapid pace of Saudi Arabia’s e-governance system and a series of strategic business moves as pivotal to his success.

According to Pervaiz, the Saudi government’s recent shift away from diesel and expansion of gas networks in industrial cities created significant opportunities. His company secured lucrative contracts in these areas, contributing to its swift growth. “The system in Saudi Arabia works faster due to e-governance, and with new directives on energy, we were well-positioned to capitalize on the expanding gas network,” he explained.

Pervaiz’s journey began three years ago when he transitioned from working to becoming an entrepreneur. Reflecting on his success, he attributed his achievements to divine grace and the confidence he gained from his early experiences in Saudi Arabia. “At the time, we had over 500 employees, and I found immense confidence in the opportunities available,” he said.

Under his leadership, his company has achieved significant milestones, including the construction of storage terminals for jet fuel at eight airports across Saudi Arabia, establishing a packaging industry in Jabeel, building hatcheries, and setting up import plants in Dammam. These projects not only expanded the company’s footprint but also created over 1,000 jobs, illustrating the scale of their operations.

Mr Pervaiz also acknowledged the influence of his mentor, Azam Bhatti, who inspired him to pursue business and provided invaluable guidance. “I value honour more than wealth and fame. I am grateful for the minimal difficulties I faced—only challenges, and I received a great deal of unseen support from Allah and nature,” Pervaiz noted.
