(Daily Point) — Jamie Dornan, renowned for his role in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, opened up about a harrowing experience stemming from his stardom.

In a recent interview with The Independent, the 41-year-old Irish actor delved into the overwhelming response to his portrayal of the smoldering billionaire, Christian Grey, based on E.L. James’ R-rated novel trilogy.

Dornan revealed a disturbing incident involving a stalker who intruded upon his home before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Reflecting on the unnerving encounter, he shared, “I had a situation… a stalker-type situation before Covid. That was frightening. Someone turned up at my house when my kids were there.”

Addressing persistent rumors regarding a romantic involvement with co-star Dakota Johnson during the filming of the movie, as well as speculation about secret children, Dornan asserted his efforts to shield his personal life from such intrusive speculations. He emphasized, “I tried to put walls up around the fans, to really try and not let that in. I’m pretty good at just blocking any of the noise associated with whatever fandom is – not letting it affect me, or more importantly, my family.”

The actor, who married musician Amelia Warner in 2013, disclosed that they share three daughters: Dulcie, Elva, and Alberta. Despite the challenges of fame, Dornan remains steadfast in safeguarding his family’s privacy amidst the fervor surrounding his on-screen endeavors.
