The romantic comedy is now poised for a renewed portrayal, tailor-made for global audiences.
The streaming giant has unveiled details about the upcoming TV series, including its release date and what viewers can expect. “One Day” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on February 8, 2024, with the 12-episode series designed for binge-watching, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the entire narrative at their convenience.
Taking on the lead roles of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew are Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall. Leo Woodall, known for his role in “The White Lotus,” and Ambika Mod, acclaimed for her portrayal of young doctor Shruti Acharya in the BBC medical drama “This is Going to Hurt,” bring their talents to the forefront.
The cast also includes Eleanor Tomlinson as Sylvie, Essie Davis as Alison Mayhew, Tim McInnerny as Stephen Mayhew, and pivotal members Toby Stephens and Joley Richardson, portraying Lionel and Helen Cope.
