Instead, the Meteorological Department underscores the persistence of thick fog in the plains of Punjab and KP, with chilly conditions anticipated in the upper parts of KP, the Pothohar region including Islamabad, and Kashmir.

In mid-January, there are expectations of light showers and snowfall in Chitral and GB. Owing to the foggy conditions, daytime temperatures are anticipated to remain below normal. Travelers are advised to exercise caution, especially on foggy days.
