ISLAMABAD (Daily Point) — The Cabinet Division of Pakistan has officially declared February 5th, 2024, as a public holiday in recognition of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
This day serves as a platform for expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people, who have been under Indian rule since 1947.
As per the official statement, a moment of silence lasting one minute will be observed at 10:00 am to pay homage to the martyrs of Kashmir. Kashmir Solidarity Day is a poignant occasion dedicated to commemorating the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri population in their ongoing pursuit of self-determination.
