(Web Desk Monitoring) — Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, renowned Pakistani singer, has been detained upon his arrival at Dubai airport, reported by local English News Website.

The local news channel website stated, the arrest comes following a complaint lodged by his former manager, Salman Ahmed, who was dismissed a few months ago as per soucres.

Khan is currently at a Dubai police station undergoing investigation. Further details are expected to emerge soon.

In a related development, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) of Pakistan recently concluded its investigation into allegations of money laundering and tax evasion against Khan. The FIA announced two weeks ago that there was no evidence linking the singer to any illegal activities. The agency’s Lahore Zone confirmed the closure of the probe, stating that the investigation did not uncover any proof of wrongdoing or illegal currency smuggling involving Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
