(Web Desk Monitoring) — The Punjab School Education Department has unveiled new school timings as summer vacations draw to a close. Starting August 15, schools throughout Punjab will follow updated schedules.

Single-shift schools will operate from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Double-shift schools will run their morning session from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and the evening shift from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Fridays.

Teachers will adhere to specific hours: at regular schools, their workday will be from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays and from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Fridays. In double-shift schools, teachers will work from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the morning shift and from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM for the evening shift.

Schools will reopen on August 15 following an extended summer break, which was prolonged by 14 days due to severe rainy weather.
