(Web Desk) — Legendary singers Abrar-ul-Haq and Jawad Ahmad recently engaged in a heated exchange over an old interview, which shed light on their perceived rivalry despite their shared success.
Jawad Ahmad, known for initiating public feuds, had previously accused Abrar-ul-Haq of hypocrisy in a social media post, stating, “I have encountered many deceitful individuals in the music industry, but none match the level of hypocrisy displayed by Abrar-ul-Haq. His words and actions are starkly contrasting.”
Abrar-ul-Haq swiftly responded to the allegations during a Public News show, asserting, “Only Allah can judge if I am a hypocrite or not.”
He attributed Jawad Ahmad’s behavior to jealousy and frustration, suggesting it stemmed from his own life failures. “There are individuals who have faced perpetual setbacks in life. A jealous person tends to harbor resentment due to their failures,” Abrar-ul-Haq remarked.
Furthermore, Abrar-ul-Haq hinted that Jawad Ahmad’s comments might have been driven by envy, particularly regarding awards and recognition. “We were both often nominated, but I received the awards, mostly based on jury decisions or public voting. I even sympathized with him,” he added.
The exchange between the two renowned singers sheds light on the dynamics within the music industry and the complexities of fame and recognition.
