(Web Desk) — Indian actress Arundhati Nair is currently on ventilator support following a tragic accident on the Chennai Kovalam bypass road. She is admitted to a private hospital in Chennai where she remains in critical condition.

The distressing news was shared by Arundhati’s sister, Arathy Nair, via social media. Arathy clarified the situation, stating that Arundhati was indeed involved in an accident three days ago and is now battling for her life while receiving treatment at Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum.

Concerned friends, such as Gopika Anil, have also reached out for support. Gopika took to Instagram to inform followers about Arundhati’s critical condition and the escalating medical expenses. She urged fans to contribute towards her friend’s medical costs, highlighting the financial strain the situation has placed on them.

The accident occurred on March 14 as Arundhati and her brother were returning from an interview. They were struck by a vehicle, which reportedly did not stop after the collision. Arundhati sustained head injuries, according to sources.

Arundhati Nair is renowned for her contributions to Tamil and Malayalam cinema, notably making her debut in the film industry with Ottakoru Kaamukan.
