(Web Desk) — Pakistani actors Ahmed Ali Akbar and Durefishan Saleem are set to star in the second season of “Salahaddin Ayyubi” (Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi).

The Turkish series, which airs on TRT 1, narrates the story of Salahaddin Ayyubi, the Muslim leader who liberated Jerusalem from the Crusaders.

This historical saga is a joint production by Turkey’s Akli Film Production and Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Films, reflecting their shared ambition to highlight the intertwined history and culture of both countries.

Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on September 23, 2024.
