Amitabh Bachchan Admitted To Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai

(Daily Point) — Renowned Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan, was reportedly admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital and underwent an angioplasty procedure on his leg, as per a report by the Times of India on Friday.

The 81-year-old actor was transferred to the hospital during the early hours of Friday. However, neither the Bachchan family nor the hospital has issued an official statement regarding his health condition.

Earlier on Friday, Bachchan posted on X (formerly Twitter), expressing gratitude with the words “In gratitude ever…” at approximately 12 pm, prompting an outpouring of ‘get well soon’ wishes from fans and well-wishers.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bachchan has encountered minor health concerns and injuries. Earlier this year, he underwent surgery for his wrist, and in 2020, he spent nearly a month in the hospital battling Covid-19.

Bachchan is set to grace the silver screen once again in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming epic science-fiction dystopian film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
