LAHORE (Daily Point) — PML-N MPA Uzma Kardar visited a local club in Lahore for swimming but faced trouble when she couldn’t find her diamond jewelry from the lockers. This led to chaos as accusations were made and the police got involved.
They searched the club, including lockers and washrooms, without informing the management, causing distress to employees and other women present.
Four girls were taken to the police station and held without clear reasons. Later, PML-N Uzma Kardar arrived with the police, claiming to have found the necklace and ring in one of the girls’ purses, but the earrings were still missing.
Four women, who were detained for allegedly stealing jewellery, have accused police of physical torture and stripping in the presence of the MPA during the investigation process. The suspects, who are employees of a private housing society club, vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
