NEW DELHI (Daily Point) — Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is gearing up to captivate her fans not only with her upcoming movie “Fighters” but also with a surprise venture in the coming year.
Adding another dimension to her career, Padukone is currently in discussions to make a return to the over-the-top (OTT) platform. Having made her OTT debut last year with the romantic thriller “Gehraiyaan,” the actress is reportedly exploring new opportunities in the digital space.
After making waves in 2023 with standout performances in blockbuster films like “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” Padukone is now in talks with a prominent streaming platform for a project centered around the drug mafia culture in India.
According to reports from Indian news sources, the actress is intrigued by the “very interesting” nature of the project, particularly from a female perspective. While she is eager to sign on for the venture, she is currently assessing her schedule before committing to the project.
In addition to her OTT endeavors, Padukone is also poised to take on the role of Shakti Shetty, aka ‘Lady Singham,’ in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham,” showcasing her versatility across various platforms.
