(Web Desk Monitoring) — Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently spoke out about his estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, in an interview with conservative commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson.

Musk claimed he was deceived into signing documents for his daughter’s gender-affirming care during the COVID-19 pandemic, describing it as “child mutilation and sterilization.” He stated this experience motivated him to combat what he calls the “woke mind virus.”

Musk referred to Vivian by her deadname and expressed feelings of loss, saying, “The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead.” He elaborated, “I was tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys. This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion and I was told [Musk’s child] might commit suicide.”

Vivian Jenna Wilson, who legally changed her name and gender at the age of 18 in June 2022 at the Santa Monica courthouse in California, has stated she no longer wishes to be related to her “biological father in any way, shape or form.”

Musk, who has previously criticized the “woke mind virus” as a significant threat to modern civilization, reaffirmed his commitment to opposing it, stating, “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that. And we’re making some progress.”

Wilson’s name and gender change petition, filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court in April 2022, cited her gender identity and an apparent dislike of her father as reasons for the change.

Musk’s recent comments add to his increasing conservative political commentary, which has become more prominent since his acquisition of Twitter in 2022.
