(Web Desk) — A video from India showing a missing girl behaving like a snake in a cave has gone viral, capturing widespread attention.
The footage, which quickly spread across social media, shows the girl flicking her tongue and moving in a serpentine manner inside a cave in Jharkhand, eastern India.
The girl had been missing for three months before being discovered in Ranidih Gupta Cave. Her unusual behavior upon discovery shocked both her relatives and the local community. In response, her family performed a puja (worship) and brought her back home.
The timing of the incident, coinciding with the auspicious month of “Sawan” dedicated to Lord Shiva, has only added to the fascination. Social media users have been quick to react, with some expressing amazement and others making light-hearted comments. One user remarked, “You can only see these things in India,” while another joked, “The next season of Nagin will be shot in Jharkhand.”
Despite the excitement, there is skepticism about the video’s authenticity. Some viewers questioned whether the footage could be staged or part of a superstitious narrative. One commenter expressed concern, saying, “Honestly guys, this is downright creepy. I cannot imagine what led to the poor girl disappearing for three months, only to be found in a cave, exhibiting snake-like movements. Is it just me or does the whole story sound fake?”
The incident has also led to some locals worshiping the girl, adding an unexpected dimension to the unfolding story.
