KARACHI (Daily Point) — In a startling development reported on Friday, Zubair Baloch, the manager of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine, has been accused of masterminding a daring robbery, absconding with gold worth over Rs10 million.

The Sindh Caretaker Minister for Law, Religious Affairs, and Human Rights, Omar Soomro, promptly dismissed the implicated manager and instructed authorities to file a robbery case against him.

Further revelations from the Auqaf department unveiled that an astonishing sum of Rs12,372,863 in gold had been stolen from the revered Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in the past month.

A spokesperson for the department disclosed that, in a surprising twist, Baloch confessed to the robbery while undergoing questioning by an inquiry committee.

Soomro took swift action, ordering the suspension of the manager’s pension and referring the case to the Anti-Corruption Department. The incident has left the community in shock as devotees gather to celebrate the Urs of Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan.
