Good news for Pakistani freelancers

ISLAMABAD (Daily Point) — The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has launched a pioneering initiative, offering interest-free loans to Pakistani freelancers.

This groundbreaking program is designed to empower independent professionals by supporting them in setting up e-working centers, addressing the issue of insufficient workspaces.

Under this initiative, each freelancer is set to receive Rs100,000 in financial aid, marking a significant step towards transforming the freelance landscape and amplifying the economic influence of freelancers. The government has earmarked Rs50 billion for private-sector co-working spaces, aiming to benefit around half a million freelancers throughout the country.
