(Web Desk) — The UAE has revamped its visa policy, introducing the E-Visa system. This new initiative eliminates the need for visas issued at borders, streamlining the application process for travelers. Now, Pakistani nationals seeking to visit the UAE for tourism can conveniently apply online for an E-Visa.
The E-Visa option offers two categories:
- A 30-day single-entry visa, valid for a stay of up to 30 days from issuance.
- A 60-day single-entry visa, allowing a stay of up to 60 days from issuance.
Applicants must meet specific criteria, including the purpose of travel being vacation and tourism, and their entry into the UAE must be by air through international airports.
Key Requirements for UAE E-Visa Application:
- Scanned images of the passport’s first and last pages.
- Scanned copy of CNIC or Smart CNIC (front and back) for adults, children, and infants.
- Passport-sized photo with a white background.
- Proof of accommodation arrangements if not staying with a relative.
- Return airline ticket.
- Six-month bank statement with a bank stamp and an account maintenance certificate.
Applying for an E-Visa involves logging into the smart services system using UAE Pass or username, selecting the required service, and filling out the application with the necessary details.
This update aims to facilitate smoother entry procedures for Pakistani travelers to the UAE, promoting tourism and economic exchanges between the two nations.
