(Web Desk Monitoring) — Controversial writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar has addressed a recent incident involving his alleged abduction and the release of explicit video footage.
According to Qamar, he was coerced at gunpoint into recording intimate scenes with a woman, which were later leaked on social media. The incident occurred after he visited the woman’s residence late at night.
The primary suspect in the case, Hasan Shah, claimed during an interview that he has a two-hour-long video showing Qamar in an intoxicated state with the woman, who is a model. Shah alleged that Qamar had actively pursued the woman and entered into a relationship with her.
In a recent interview, Qamar clarified his side of the story, stating, “If you watch the videos, you will see that I was held at gunpoint and forced to record explicit content with the woman.” He further mentioned that the perpetrators were responsible for recording the videos.
When questioned about why he had not disclosed the existence of the video earlier, Qamar explained that he faced victim-blaming and initially hesitated to include the video in the FIR. He was advised against it by the police due to a lack of corroborating evidence. However, Qamar mentioned that they were fortunate to have obtained footage showing the setup and preparation for the recording, which he believes supports his claims.
