India’s global conspiracy against Sikhs exposed

WASHINGTON (Daily Point) — Online American nonprofit news organization ‘The Intercept’ has disclosed evidence suggesting India’s involvement in a global campaign against Sikhs, with allegations that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs orchestrated crackdowns on Sikh leaders abroad.

According to the report, which relies on a memo issued by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in April 2023, classified documents signed by Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Kotra were sent to Indian consulates in North America, instructing them to initiate a crackdown on Sikh leaders.

This revelation follows the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada in June 2023, occurring two months after the dispatch of the memos. Additionally, an attempt was made to assassinate Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in the United States in June 2023.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of involvement in the killing of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar, while the United States held the Modi government responsible for the conspiracy to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

The joint intelligence agency of the Five Eyes countries reportedly confirmed these claims against India, intensifying international scrutiny.

The Intercept’s investigation alleges that the Modi government’s involvement in the killings of Sikhs is supported by electronic communications between the Indian government and its consulates abroad. These communications purportedly contain directives targeting Sikh leaders globally.

Documents released to The Intercept not only implicate the Modi government in the deaths of Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Gurpatwant Singh Pannun but also suggest a broader conspiracy against Sikh leaders and activists worldwide.

As a consequence of these revelations, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom have reportedly expelled senior Indian agents from their countries.

The severity of the situation has strained diplomatic relations between India and Western countries, with growing concerns about terrorism and extremism allegedly sponsored by the Modi government on the international stage.
