RAWALPINDI (Daily Point) — Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently in custody due to the cipher case, has declared his intention to summon former Army Chief General Retired Qamar Javed Bajwa to court, alleging that Gen Bajwa acted at the behest of Donald Low.

Speaking informally with journalists at Adiala Jail, the ex-Chairman of PTI asserted his plans to enlist General Retired Qamar Javed Bajwa and officials from the American Embassy as witnesses in the cipher case.

Imran Khan went on to claim that all actions taken by former army chief were carried out on the request of Donald Low. Responding to queries, Khan insisted that no negotiations took place, and he expressed readiness to affirm in writing that PTI would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.

Regarding his own arrest, Imran Khan contended that the manner in which he was apprehended was part of a premeditated plan. Drawing a comparison with the situation of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Khan remarked that Sharif faced no difficulties in jail, stating that he considered his confinement a form of worship.

Addressing allegations made by Khawar Manika, Imran Khan refuted claims and explained that he only saw Bushra Bibi’s form on the day of their marriage. He further criticised the manipulation of children to provide statements against their own mother.

In response to queries about prominent leaders leaving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khan expressed gratitude for their departure. The indictment for Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been scheduled for December 12.
