(Web Desk) — In a disturbing incident in Delhi, an Indian man brutally stabbed a woman multiple times after allegedly feeling mocked by her.

The assailant, identified as Aman, was apprehended at the scene despite his attempt to flee.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, frequented a library in Mukerjee Nagar for her studies.

According to authorities, Aman had been subjected to ridicule in the area, often being labeled as ‘crazy’ by many students due to his erratic behavior.

Aman confessed to law enforcement that he was incensed by the woman’s purported mockery, which prompted his violent assault.

Police reported that Aman pursued the woman, seizing a knife from a nearby fruit vendor along the way.

CCTV footage captured the harrowing ordeal, showing the assailant aggressively pursuing the woman, pushing her down, and repeatedly stabbing her.

Thankfully, bystanders intervened, aiding the woman and preventing further harm as the attacker managed to escape momentarily before being apprehended by law enforcement.

Authorities confirmed that while the woman sustained multiple injuries, she is in stable condition and expected to recover soon.
