(WEB DESK) — Renowned fashion designer Maria B has once again threatened legal action against the TV series Barzakh, which has faced criticism for allegedly promoting homosexuality.
In a recent Instagram post, Maria B declared her intention to pursue legal action as the series approaches its final episode. “So you get to watch the finale—smart move. Who are you fooling? We are still going to court tomorrow. Pakistan, let’s see this through,” she stated emphatically.
Earlier, Maria B had voiced her concerns about Barzakh through a video on her Instagram account. She argued that the series promotes vulgarity, supports an LGBTQ agenda, normalizes pre-marital sex, and includes themes that could negatively impact children. Maria B also took issue with Fawad Khan’s comments suggesting that society is becoming more accepting of same-sex relationships, rejecting this view and vowing to oppose content she believes is unsuitable for young viewers.
Maria B had previously announced her plans to take legal action against the controversial web series, underscoring her commitment to opposing what she perceives as inappropriate content.
