(Daily Point) — In a candid interview on the platform of Daily Point, rising model Wajdan Rao shared his journey to fame and his experiences working with social media star Chahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Despite gaining overnight recognition by featuring in Chahat Fateh Ali’s song, Rao expressed his disappointment with the collaboration.
Rao revealed that his initial claims of buying a flat in Dubai and a property in London through his earnings from working with Chahat Fateh Ali were, in fact, a joke. He shared his frustrations over their professional relationship, especially when their video “Badu Badugane” went viral, attracting both attention and criticism on social media.
Rao recounted his emotional response to the backlash, uploading a video in which he tearfully explained that the song was meant to entertain people, urging them not to troll him. He highlighted a significant point of contention with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, refuting claims that he was well-compensated and well-treated during their collaboration.
According to Rao, contrary to what was portrayed, he was not offered proper meals during the shooting. Out of six songs, only one meal was provided, and he received a mere Rs 5,000 for his work on “Badu Badugane,” with an additional Rs 1,000 allocated for food expenses.
Rao’s revelations shed light on the often unglamorous reality behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, exposing the challenges and misunderstandings he faced while working with a prominent social media personality.
