The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced an upcoming examination for the induction of Provincial Management Services (PMS) and Provincial Civil Services (PCS) into the prestigious Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). Scheduled to take place from September 23 to September 24, 2024, in Islamabad, this competitive examination aims to fill a total of 26 vacancies across various regions:
- Punjab: 18 positions
- Sindh (Urban): 2 positions
- Sindh (Rural): 5 positions
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): 1 position

Eligibility criteria specify that candidates must be current officers of provincial management services or provincial civil services, holding positions in BPS-17 or above for at least twelve years, including five years in a cadre post and currently in a regular BPS-19 position. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs. 2200/- and submit their applications online between July 7, 2024, and July 22, 2024. Alongside online submissions, applicants must send a signed Bio Data Form and necessary documents to the FPSC Headquarters in Islamabad within 15 days of the closing date.
