PIA stops passengers to take photos, videos during flight

PIA Privatisation plan

(Web Desk Monitoring) — Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stepped up efforts to enforce a ban on photography and videography during flights, particularly during crucial phases such as takeoff and landing.

In response to the growing trend of passengers capturing images and videos while onboard, PIA has begun making regular in-flight announcements to remind travelers of this restriction.

The airline clarified that this measure aligns with Pakistani aviation regulations, which strictly prohibit photography during flights. A spokesperson for PIA explained that the ban aims to protect passenger privacy and prevent any potential incidents that could result from unauthorized filming or photography.

They also noted that this prohibition is consistent with global aviation standards.
