LAHORE (Daily Point) — According to a report by The Verge citing prominent leaker Ice Universe, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may boast an impressive 4K filming capability at a speedy 120fps. However, it’s cautioned that this feature is currently in the testing phase and might not necessarily make it to the final version of the phone.

Ice Universe stated, “We’ve seen 4K 120fps recording on OnePlus and Sony phones in the past, and now Samsung could join them after its launch, which is tipped for January 17th.”

In other leaks surrounding the Galaxy S24 Ultra, camera specifications have been revealed. The device is expected to feature a groundbreaking 200MP primary camera with an improved ISOCELL HP2SX sensor, featuring 0.6µm pixels. The camera setup also includes a 12MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX564 with 1.4µm pixels), a 10MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX754+ with 1/12µm pixels) providing 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX854 with 0.7µm pixels) offering 5x optical zoom.

Notably, the Galaxy S24 Ultra departs from the 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom found in previous models. Instead, it aims to optimize the 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom to deliver 10x optical quality zoom.

Among the anticipated features is the “Zoom Anyplace” technology, allowing users to record a full-view 4K video while simultaneously capturing a zoomed-in view of the same frame at 4K resolution. This innovation is expected to provide creative possibilities for both users and filmmakers.

Additionally, Samsung is set to introduce the “E2E AI Remosaic” feature, powered by a new image processing algorithm. This technology is designed to cut in half the time it takes to capture a 200MP resolution image, addressing a previous drawback in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The result is high-resolution images in a wider range of situations, thanks to the improved efficiency of this new feature.
