NEW DELHI (Daily Point) — Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, famously known as Sidhu Moosewala, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022. However, there are reports that Sidhu Moosewala’s parents, Charan Kaur and her husband, are expecting a child.
According to the foreign media LiveMint, the news suggests that Charan Kaur is pregnant and is anticipated to give birth in March. Sidhu Moosewala was their only child, and the couple, who are in their late 50s, have not officially addressed this development yet.
Family sources have reportedly confirmed the impending delivery, stating that Charan Kaur has maintained a low profile for over six months. It is mentioned in reports that Sidhu Moosewala’s parents opted for In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to conceive.
Despite the joyous news, there has been no official statement from Moosewala’s parents. The singer’s untimely death occurred in May 2022, and the responsibility for the murder was claimed by Satwinder Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Brar justified the act by stating that Moosewala had misused his influence, necessitating a lesson.
Sidhu Moosewala, a prominent figure in Punjabi music, had ventured into politics, contesting the 2022 Punjab Assembly Elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa. However, he faced defeat at the hands of Aam Aadmi Party’s Dr. Vijay Singla. The singer had joined the Congress party in December 2021.
The murder case has seen developments with the arrest of Mandeep Singh, alias Chotta Mani, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi. Singh is accused of providing hideouts to individuals involved in Moosewala’s murder and aiding the escape of Gangster Deepak Tinu in 2017, as per the statement by Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) registered a case against Lawrence Bishnoi’s organized crime syndicate and associates under the UA(P)A in August 2022. The agency’s investigations revealed the syndicate’s widespread criminal networks in various states across the country.
