(Web Desk) — Dr Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has clarified recent concerns about visa restrictions affecting Pakistani citizens.
In response to reports about difficulties faced by Sindh residents in obtaining UAE visas, Dr. Remeithi assured that no new restrictions have been implemented.
In a video statement, he emphasized that Pakistani businessmen, laborers, and those traveling for medical reasons continue to receive the necessary assistance for visits to cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. “The UAE has consistently maintained strong cultural, religious, and trade ties with Pakistan and offers full support to Pakistani visa applicants,” Dr. Remeithi stated.
To support travelers, Dr. Remeithi announced a new awareness program at the Karachi Consulate. This initiative aims to educate travelers on avoiding prohibited items and ensuring proper packing to prevent any issues.
Additionally, Dr. Remeithi revealed that the UAE will soon launch a new program specifically designed for the business community. This program will provide comprehensive support for those looking to conduct business in the UAE and facilitate UAE companies’ ventures into Pakistan.
