LAHORE (Daily Point) – Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli showered praise on his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, attributing her influence to his commitment to the truth, regardless of circumstances.

Kohli and Anushka tied the knot in Italy in December 2017, and their enduring relationship has been filled with joy.

The couple has consistently garnered attention due to their immense fame in their respective fields. Kohli made a spectacular debut for the Indian national cricket team in August 2008, while Anushka has soared to new heights in the world of Bollywood.

Kohli shared that it was Anushka who imparted the valuable lesson of standing firmly by the truth, even when it seems no one else will support or listen.

“I’ve learned from Anushka how to steadfastly uphold the truth, regardless of the circumstances,” Kohli expressed in a conversation with Wrogn. “She always told me that if you stand by the truth, you needn’t fret, for the path will naturally unfold, and things will become clear and distinct.”

The 34-year-old cricketer also opened up about Anushka’s journey into motherhood, commending her grace and strength after giving birth to their daughter, ‘Vamika,’ in 2021.

“When you witness your life partner becoming a mother, that’s when you truly appreciate and grasp the resilience of a mother,” Kohli remarked, referencing the birth of their daughter in 2021. “The way Anushka managed everything is both incredible and astonishing; she even worked on an entire film in between.”

It’s important to note that Kohli is currently representing India in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, where he has established himself as one of the leading run-scorers. With a total of 354 runs in six matches, Kohli’s most notable contributions have come during run chases, a skill he is renowned for. India stands as the only unbeaten team in the mega event, boasting six victories and positioning themselves one step closer to the semi-finals.
