During the second T20I match against Ireland in Dublin on Sunday, a spectator from Afghanistan was reported to have behaved inappropriately towards Pakistan’s star pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi. The incident occurred as Afridi was making his way to the ground from the dressing room.
Initially, Afridi chose to ignore the Afghan fan despite the use of foul language directed at him. However, when the situation persisted, Afridi alerted the security personnel present at the venue. Swift action was taken by the security team, resulting in the removal of the fan from the ground.

In the match itself, Pakistan emerged victorious, defeating the hosts by seven wickets and leveling the T20I series 1-1. Notably, Shaheen Shah Afridi achieved a personal milestone during the game, claiming his 300th wicket in international cricket by dismissing Irish captain Paul Stirling. However, he conceded 49 runs during his spell.
The series finale is scheduled to take place at the same venue on April 14th.
