(Web Desk) — In a new development, it has been revealed that drama writer and anti-feminist activist Khalilur Rehman Qamar was abducted by a woman living in Bahria Town, Lahore.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed at Sundar police station, Lahore, Qamar was lured to the woman’s residence at midnight on July 15 by a woman named Amina.
“When he arrived at her residence, the woman, along with her accomplices, tortured Khalilur Rehman Qamar. The accused also snatched Rs. 273,000 in cash and a mobile phone from him,” the FIR stated.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs. 10 million and even fired shots at Qamar, though he remained unharmed.
A case of torture and robbery was registered based on Qamar’s complaint, and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
Further details about the accused, Amina, have yet to be disclosed. It remains to be determined whether Qamar had any prior dispute with the woman that led to this criminal act or if it was solely an abduction for ransom.
