PUNE (Daily Point) — A tragic incident unfolded as a man, identified as Nikhil Khanna, lost his life following a dispute with his wife, Renuk in India. The confrontation took place in their Wanavadi apartment, resulting in Renuk’s arrest for further investigation.

The unfortunate event occurred on a Friday afternoon, stemming from a disagreement over Nikhil’s refusal to take Renuk to Dubai to celebrate her birthday. The couple, who had a love marriage six years ago, reportedly had ongoing issues related to gift-giving, with Renuk expressing dissatisfaction over not receiving expensive presents, including on their wedding anniversary.

According to a senior police officer from the Wanavadi Police station, tensions escalated further when Nikhil did not respond favorably to Renuk’s desire to travel to Delhi for the birthdays of some relatives. In the heat of the argument, Renuk allegedly punched her husband in the face, resulting in the breaking of Nikhil’s nose and some teeth. Subsequently, he fell unconscious on the spot.

Nikhil was promptly transported to the hospital, where doctors, unfortunately, pronounced him dead. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and Renuk remains in custody for questioning.
