LAHORE (Daily Point) — Malaysia has recently streamlined its visa application process for Pakistani tourists by introducing a user-friendly online system.

The Immigration Department of Malaysia has implemented significant procedural changes, enabling visitors from Pakistan to easily apply for a 30-day visit visa through an accessible online portal.

The newly revamped system, known as the Malaysia eVisa, boasts an extended validity period of 90 days from the date of approval. This longer timeframe provides Pakistani travelers with a three-month window to plan and execute their visit to Malaysia, offering enhanced flexibility for those eager to explore the diverse attractions of the Southeast Asian nation.

To successfully apply for the Malaysia eVisa, Pakistani tourists are required to submit essential documents. These include a hard copy of the approved eVisa, the passport used for the application, a digital copy of the passport’s biographical information page, a recent passport-size photo, proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and evidence of sufficient funds for the trip’s duration.

A noteworthy development is the reduction in visa fees, with the cost of the eVisa for Pakistani tourists now set at 20 Malaysian Ringgit, approximately Rs1,224. This reduction makes Malaysia an even more appealing destination for travelers from Pakistan, providing an affordable entry point to explore the rich cultural and natural wonders of the country.

To enhance the convenience of the application process, applicants can conveniently pay the eVisa processing fee using a valid debit or credit card. This particular step is aimed at improving the overall ease and accessibility of the visa application process for Pakistani travelers, making Malaysia an increasingly attractive destination for those seeking a hassle-free travel experience.
