Lahore Bar bans police entry to lower courts until release of Sher Afzal

LAHORE (Daily Point) — The Lahore Bar Association has prohibited police access to courts until the release of PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat.

The Lahore Bar President stated that police entry will remain restricted until Marwat is released. Marwat was apprehended by Lahore Police on Thursday at GPO Chowk for allegedly disturbing the peace, and a case is expected to be filed against him under 3-MPOs.

LHC Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry heard the application in the chamber, issued notices to the involved parties, and scheduled the next hearing for December 18.
