ISLAMABAD (Daily Point) — The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has taken action by blocking the identity cards of 18 PTI leaders who were declared proclaimed offenders in the May 9 cases.

According to the details, among the suspects are prominent figures such as Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Hammad Azhar, Aslam Iqbal, Karamat Khokhar, Ali Amin Gandapur, Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, Jamshed Cheema, and others.

NADRA officials claim that the police requested the blocking of the identity cards, asserting that the suspects cannot access legal rights without appearing in the anti-terrorism court. The national identity cards will remain blocked until further investigation, officials added.

As a result, the proclaimed offenders will be stripped of all facilities tied to their ID cards, according to police officials.”
