DUBAI (Daily Point) — Islamabad native Mohammed Inam, residing and working in Abu Dhabi, UAE, clinched a jackpot prize of 15 million dirhams (equivalent to Rs1,150,500,000), as reported by the Khaleej Times. Inam, a finance auditor at a private firm, struck it rich by winning the Easy6 game in the Emirates Draw.

Converted at the exchange rate of 76.7427 AED, the substantial prize translates to approximately one billion one hundred fifty million five hundred thousand Pakistani rupees, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.

Expressing his gratitude, Inam revealed his intention to fulfill a lifelong dream of performing Hajj, considering it a spiritually significant journey. His journey to becoming a millionaire started in 2021 when he began purchasing tickets after coming across an advertisement on social media.

Inam characterized the win as a pleasant surprise, noting that he had chosen the winning numbers randomly. Despite not being aware of the specific numbers selected, the outcome aligned with his desired plans. He admitted to the randomness of his selection, choosing consecutive numbers 14 and 15.

The news of his unexpected fortune initially left Inam in disbelief, with his wife being the first person he shared the life-changing news with. Inam pledged to prioritize his family’s Hajj pilgrimage over any further investments or expenditures, indicating plans to channel a portion of his winnings into the UAE’s real estate market after the sacred journey. Additionally, he intends to purchase a family car and allocate funds for charitable causes, embodying a spirit of giving back.
