(Daily Point) — The introduction of the Apple Vision Pro has sparked significant enthusiasm in the virtual reality (VR) headset market, showcasing remarkable capabilities that go beyond traditional VR devices.

While Apple avoids labeling it simply as a VR headset, the recently unveiled ‘Spatial Computer’ has captured the attention of tech enthusiasts worldwide.

In the United States, the Apple Vision Pro comes with a hefty price tag of $3499. Many are eagerly awaiting its availability in Pakistan, wondering about its potential cost. However, determining its price in Pakistan is not as straightforward as a mere currency conversion from USD to Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

In addition to the base market value, several additional expenses such as import taxes, duties, and retailer margins need to be taken into account. Considering these factors, the projected price of the Apple Vision Pro in Pakistan is expected to surpass its USD equivalent.

At the current exchange rate, $3499 roughly translates to approximately Rs. 970,053. With the inclusion of import taxes and duties, the price could easily surpass the Rs. 1,100,000 mark. Additionally, retailers typically apply an extra margin to ensure profitability, further increasing the cost for consumers.

Taking these factors into consideration, it is estimated that the price of the Apple Vision Pro in Pakistan may be around Rs. 1,200,000. However, this estimate remains conservative, given the economic conditions in Pakistan.

Moreover, it’s important to note that the $3499 price tag is for the base model with 256 GB storage. The variant with 1 TB storage is priced at $3899 in the US. Considering the enhanced storage capacity and additional features, the price for the fully loaded variant in Pakistan could exceed Rs. 1,300,000 at retail outlets.
