Babar achieved this milestone by scoring 44 runs off 43 balls in his first World Cup match against the US, held at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Thursday.

At the start of the game, the 29-year-old Babar had 4,023 runs, placing him third on the all-time list. His career in T20Is includes 36 fifties and three centuries.
