PTI, Imran Khan seek support from alleged regime change country: Ex-Trump adviser

Farrukh Trump Adviser

LAHORE (Daily Point) – Sajid Tarar, a former adviser to American President Donald Trump, claimed that the entire Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including its leader Imran Khan, has been seeking support from the very country they accused of orchestrating regime change.

The former US president adviser said while talking to the senior anchor Farrukh Shahbaz in “Jawab Do” TV programme. He said that the PTI has been spending millions of dollars on lobbying efforts with US Congress members.

Mr Tarar expressed his regret, stating that a so-called ‘Jihad’ is being carried out in Pakistan under the influence of a guiding figure, with PTI distributing significant sums for lobbying in the United States. He lamented that if such a large amount of money had been invested within Pakistan, the current state of affairs could have been different.

He further noted that the situation in Pakistan has been deteriorating since May 9. Tarar expressed sorrow over the fact that a significant number of Pakistanis have been misled into believing that the U.S. was responsible for ending Imran Khan’s government through a conspiracy, particularly after a cipher went missing.

Regarding the upcoming U.S. election, Tarar voiced concerns about potential rigging, asserting that if the election were free and fair, Donald Trump would likely win by a significant margin. He also criticized the current political landscape in the U.S., suggesting that former President Barack Obama is effectively running the country, while President Joe Biden is merely a figurehead.
