Punjab Assembly ex-speaker Dost Mazari among others join PML-N

LAHORE (Daily Point) — Dost Muhammad Mazari, the former deputy speaker of the Punjab Assembly, along with several others, officially joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) following a meeting with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday.

Among the notable figures making the switch to PML-N were Maulana Asif, Babar Khan Sial, Neelam Sial, Chaudhry Khalid Ghani, Ameer Abbas Sial, Faisal Hayat Jabboana, Raees Muhammad Ibrahim, and Sardar Riaz Khan Mazari.

During the event, Shehbaz Sharif extended a warm welcome to the new members, emphasizing the PML-N as a stronghold dedicated to the nation’s prosperity. He stated, “The PML-N is a home that guarantees the country’s prosperity,” reaffirming the party’s commitment to national development.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of these fresh additions to the PML-N, stating that the inclusion of these political leaders would accelerate the country’s progress. He particularly stressed the urgent need for support in addressing inflation, urging backing for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in this effort.

Pledging to tackle the challenges facing the nation, Shehbaz Sharif expressed a commitment to unity, consensus, and political cooperation. The former lawmakers, in turn, voiced their confidence in the leadership of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, signaling a collective dedication to the party’s vision and goals.
